Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3/4 cup raw walnut halves or pieces
  • 2 tbs raw sesame seeds
  • 1 tbs cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp whole coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp whole black peppercorns

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • On a cookie sheet combine walnuts and sesame seeds and spread into an even layer.
  • Roast for 10 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • In a food processor or using a mortar and pestle, combine roasted walnuts and sesame seeds, cumin, coriander, salt and black pepper. Pulse or grind until you have a powdery, yet still somewhat coarse (or whatever desired) texture.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
