Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3/4 cup raw walnut halves or pieces
- 2 tbs raw sesame seeds
- 1 tbs cumin seeds
- 1 tsp whole coriander seeds
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp whole black peppercorns
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- On a cookie sheet combine walnuts and sesame seeds and spread into an even layer.
- Roast for 10 minutes, or until fragrant.
- In a food processor or using a mortar and pestle, combine roasted walnuts and sesame seeds, cumin, coriander, salt and black pepper. Pulse or grind until you have a powdery, yet still somewhat coarse (or whatever desired) texture.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
