Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 2/3 cup Bertolli Olive Oil
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 ½ cups gluten-free flour ((or all-purpose flour))
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips ((dairy-free for vegan))
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 2, eggs (or flax eggs for vegan)
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, water, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs.
- In a larger bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder.
- Add the olive oil mixture to the flour mixture, and whisk until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Prepare an 8” x 8” baking pan by rubbing lightly with olive oil.
- Pour brownie batter into the baking pan. It should be about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the brownies comes out with just a few crumbles of batter.
- Let the brownies cool. Slice and serve.
