Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter ((room temperature))
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips ((melted))
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini baking M&M's

Instruction

  • Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk together. 
  • In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar together. Add in melted chocolate and continue to beat until combined. Last beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Slowing add in flour mix to the stand mixer pausing to scrap the sides often. 
  • Fold in mini baking M&M's. Wrap bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 2 hours. 
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let the cookies set on the pan for 2-3 minutes before removing them and allowing them to cool on a cooling rack.
