Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Canola Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray and 8 inch baking pan with nonstick spray and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate mixing bowl. whisk together the milk, oil, banana, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Add the milk mixture and the chocolate chips to the flour mixture, stir until blended.
  • Spoon the batter into the pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and let it completely cool on a wire rack.
