Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 glazed donuts (fresh or day-old, sliced in half lengthwise)
- 6 slices of bacon (cooked to desired doneness)
- 3 slices of monterey jack or provolone cheese
- 3 tbsp of unsalted butter (softened)
Instruction
- Spread about 1/2 tbsp butter on the inner side of each donut half. In a frying pan, cook bacon and fry eggs to desired doneness.
- Preheat another frying pan on stove, using medium heat setting. Place 3 of the donut halves, butter side down into preheated pan. Cook until toasted and golden. Flip over. Add cheese, bacon. Take remaining donut halves and place on top, buttered side facing up. Carefully flip entire sandwich over so other buttered side can cook until golden. The cheese should start to melt in the process. Flip sandwich over again and cook slightly longer until cheese is completely melted.
- Add egg into the sandwich. Eat immediately
