Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 4 Mars Bar
- 3 tbs margarine
- 3 tbs golden syrup
- 6 cup Rice Bubbles
- 2 block milk chocolate
Instruction
- Line a lamington tray with baking paper so mixture doesn't stick to tray
- Break Mars bars into pieces in a large bowl Add margarine and golden syrup Melt in the microwave in 30 second increments stirring until Mars bars are melted
- Add 4 cups of rice bubbles and mix until coated in Mars bars. Add more rice bubbles one cup at a time depending on if there is melted mixture still remaining at the bottom of the bowl. All rice bubbles should be coated in mixture and resemble a sticky consistency but not runny
- Pour into lamington tray and spread evenly with the back of a metal spoon Melt the Cadbury chocolate ( I do this in the microwave but don't burn the chocolate so keep checking every 30 seconds ) and pour evenly over the slice.
- Put in fridge to set overnight ( the choc needs to set ) To cut into slices you will need slice out of the fridge for 30-45minutes to soften the choc slightly and use a butter knife to cut to size ( run the knife under hot water so the choc doesn't crack ). Wipe the knife or water will drop onto slice!!
- The chocolate tends to melt so don't leave slice out of the fridge for too long. To store keep in fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
