Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Shortening (room temperature)
- 2 Tsp White Vinegar
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Milk
- 3 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix all the batter ingredients until well combined. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Mix 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and spread 3/4 of the mixture over the batter in the loaf pan.
- Pour the rest of the batter into the loaf pan and spread the rest of the sugar mixture on top of the batter.
- Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the bread comes out clean.
