Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Tbsp cornmeal
- 1 13.8-oz. can refrigerated pizza crust dough
- 16 oz. lean ground beef
- 1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
- 2 Tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup refried beans
- ⅓ cup taco sauce
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- shredded lettuce
- diced tomatoes
- diced avocados
- sliced olives
- sour cream
- salsa
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Lightly spray a 9”x13” cake pan with nonstick baking spray. Sprinkle cornmeal evenly onto pan.
- Unroll pizza dough and press into bottom and 1” up sides of the pan; set pan aside.
- Using a medium skillet, add ground beef and place over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes, or until beef is fully cooked.
- Drain skillet and then add diced tomatoes, taco seasoning and ⅔ cup water; stir until well combined. Continue cooking for 3-4 minutes, or until most of the water has evaporated. Remove skillet from heat.
- Using a small bowl, stir together refried beans and taco sauce. Spread this mixture evenly on top of pizza dough. Spread beef mixture on top of refried beans. Finally, combine the two cheeses and spread evenly on top of beef.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until cheese has fully melted.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before adding optional toppings and slicing.
