Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 1 1/2 cup plain flour sifted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbs white vinegar
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 cup water
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a round cake tin or a 12 hole muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, place the sugar, then sift in the flour and cocoa. Place the bicarbonate of soda on top and add the vinegar, essence, salt, oil and water.
- Using a balloon whisk, stir all ingredients until well combined. Do not over mix.
- Pour mixture into cake tin or muffin trays. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes or the muffins for 20 minutes.
