Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 500g shortcrust pastry thawed
  • 1 jar strawberry jam

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Cut sheets of shortcrust pastry into half lengthwise and place onto baking trays lined with silicon baking paper.
  • Place spoonfuls of jam at regular intervals about 1cm from upper edge of pastry.
  • Run a wet finger around the jam, then carefully fold pastry over to make an envelope.
  • Press down onto the wet pastry and cut into bars using a blunt knife.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes, or until bars are lightly browned.
  • Cool on racks and store in an airtight container.
