Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 185 g butter
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 2 egg
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup custard powder
- 1 tbs icing sugar *to decorate
- 125 g butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 tbs custard powder
- 1 tbs orange rind grated
- 2 tsp orange juice
Instruction
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually beat in eggs, mix well after each addition.
- Gradually fold in sifted flour and custard powder.
- Place teaspoonfuls of mixture onto a lightly greased oven tray. Press down with a fork.
- Bake at 180C for 10-15 minutes.
- Cool biscuits on a cake rack.
- Filling: Cream butter, icing sugar, and custard powder until light and fluffy.
- Add orange juice and rind and beat until smooth.
- Spread biscuits with filling and sandwich together.
- Dust with icing sugar.
