Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 1/2 kg jap pumpkin chopped peeled
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 tbs garlic crushed
  • 3 tbs curry powder
  • 1L Massel Chicken Style Liquid Stock
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 600 ml cream
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste

Instruction

  • Saute onion, garlic and curry powder in some olive oil until tender.
  • Add pumpkin, stock, salt and pepper, and bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer. The liquid will reduce slightly.
  • When pumpkin has softened, blend the soup.
  • Stir through cream and simmer.
