Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole oats
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cold, cut into cubes
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 medium size baking apples (I used Gala apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks)
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instruction
- 1. In a large bowl, toss the apple chunks with 2 Tablespoons lemon juice and set aside while we make the corn starch mixture and topping.
