Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 6 sweet potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Instruction

  • Peel sweet potatoes and cut into large, 2 inch pieces.
  • Place chopped sweet potatoes into a Crockpot.
  • Add in brown sugar and melted butter and stir well to coat sweet potatoes evenly.
  • Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or on high 3-4 hours.
  • Remove lid and pierce a sweet potato with a fork. If it slides in easily, they are done. If not, put cover back on and cook an additional hour.
  • Sprinkle miniature marshmallows on top of sweet potatoes.
  • Cover and cook an additional 5-10 minutes or until marshmallows are soft and melty.
  • Serve warm.
