Ingredients

The following ingredients have 7 Servings
  • 6 cups French Bread (cubed (or other loaf bread))
  • 1/4 Cup Strawberry Preserves
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries (diced )
  • 6 eggs (Large)
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instruction

  • Place 1/2 of cubed bread in a parchment lined 6 qt or larger crockpot.
  • Top with diced strawberries and then the other half of the bread.
  • In a large bowl beat together preserves, eggs, milk, vanilla,  and brown sugar.
  • Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate crock overnight or for at least 1-2 hours.
  • Place crock back into crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
  • Serve with powdered sugar, honey, or whipped cream.
