Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 lb ground beef1
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs2
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves3 (minced)
  • 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce (no salt added)
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste (no salt added)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¾ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instruction

  • In a large bowl, mix together the meatball ingredients with your hands until fully combined.
  • Roll the mixture into 12 or 18 evenly sized balls and place them in the bottom of a crockpot. Just to be safe, spray the bottom of the crockpot with cooking spray before adding the meatballs.
  • Add in the sauce ingredients and give them a gentle stir. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.4
