Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 5 lbs potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup milk (plus more as needed)
  • kosher salt and ground pepper to taste

Instruction

  • Place peeled, chopped potatoes in a Crockpot.
  • Add in chicken broth and butter.
  • Cover and cook on high 4 hours.
  • Remove lid and add in sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk.
  • Beat with an electric hand mixer until smooth.
  • Add more milk as needed for desired consistency.
  • Add fresh ground salt and pepper to taste.
  • Switch to keep warm setting and serve out of the slow cooker for a holiday dinner.
