Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup brown lentils
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 yam (peeled and cubed)
  • 1 1/2 cups Jovial Organic Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 16 oz vegetable stock
  • salt (to taste)
  • fresh crushed black pepper (to taste)

Instruction

  • Add all the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours. Keep it warm in the slow cooker till you are ready to serve it.
  • Optionally, garnish with basil or any other fresh herbs.
