Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 15.25 ounces Betty Crocker Lemon Cake Mix {1 box}
  • ½ cup Applesauce
  • 1⅓ cup Water
  • 3 Eggs
  • 16 ounces Cream Cheese Frosting {1 container}
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

Instruction

  • Beat cake mix, apple sauce, water and eggs together for 1 minute with mixer.
  • Spray inside of Crockpot with Pam Cooking Spray.
  • Pour mixture into Crockpot and cover.
  • Cook on high for 1.5 – 2 hours, or until done.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the crockpot after it has finished baking.
  • Once the cake has cooled, carefully cut pieces directly out from the Crockpot.
  • Stir in 1 tsp. Lemon Juice into the Cream Cheese Frosting, and frost the pieces up for an extra little boost of lemon zing!
