Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 1-2 pounds boneless (skinless chicken breast (I usually just add enough to cover the bottom of the Crockpot))
- 1 container of your favorite salsa ((8-12 ounce))
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Tortillas for serving
- Additional toppings such as sour cream (pico de gallo, cheese, or guacamole.)
Instruction
- Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Cover chicken with onions, salsa, and seasonings.
- Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Return chicken to slow cooker.
- Serve warm on tortillas with additional tasty toppings
