Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1-2 pounds boneless (skinless chicken breast (I usually just add enough to cover the bottom of the Crockpot))
  • 1 container of your favorite salsa ((8-12 ounce))
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Tortillas for serving
  • Additional toppings such as sour cream (pico de gallo, cheese, or guacamole.)

Instruction

  • Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Cover chicken with onions, salsa, and seasonings.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Return chicken to slow cooker.
  • Serve warm on tortillas with additional tasty toppings
