Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1 yellow onion (finely chopped)
- 3 carrots (peeled and diced)
- 3 celery stalks (finely chopped)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 8 c. low sodium chicken broth
- 3 c. dry egg noodles
Instruction
- Add chicken, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, thyme, bay leaves and chicken stock to crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Remove the cooked chicken breast and shred using two forks.
- Add the chicken back into the cooker along with the egg noodles. Cook on low an additional 30 minutes or until noodles are cooked through. Serve immediately!
