Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 carrots (peeled and diced)
  • 3 celery stalks (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 8 c. low sodium chicken broth
  • 3 c. dry egg noodles

Instruction

  • Add chicken, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, thyme, bay leaves and chicken stock to crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Remove the cooked chicken breast and shred using two forks.
  • Add the chicken back into the cooker along with the egg noodles. Cook on low an additional 30 minutes or until noodles are cooked through. Serve immediately!
