Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 Medium Onion Thinly Sliced
  • 3 POunds Chicken Cut up
  • 2 Cans Tomato Paste (6oz each)
  • 1 Can Sliced Mushrooms (4oz) Drained
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 2 Teaspoons Oregano Leaves
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Celery Seed
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/2 Cup Dry White Wine

Instruction

  • 1. Place sliced onion in bottom of stoneware. Add chicken pieces. 2. In a bowl, stir together tomato paste, mushrooms, salt, pepper, garlic, herbs and white wine. Pour over chicken. 3. Cover; cook on LOW 8 hours (HIGH 4 hours). Serve chicken pieces over spaghetti or vermicelli.
