Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoons water

Instruction

  • In a small bowl beat egg white, water, and vanilla until frothy. Set aside.
  • Mix sugars, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Place pecan halves into a 4qt or larger crockpot and pour the egg white mix over the top. Stir.
  • Pour the sugar mix over the moistened pecans and stir to coat. 
  • Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. Opening to stir every 30 -45 minutes. 
  • After 3 hours remove the pecans from the crockpot and spread out on a baking sheet to cool. Once cool, break up and store in an airtight container.
