Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 Pounds Extra Lean Ground Turkey (May Also Use Ground Chicken)
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion (Finely Diced)
  • 1 Cup Celery (Finely Diced)
  • 4.5 Ounces Canned Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 Cup Ketchup
  • 10.75 Ounces Canned Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1/4 Cup Prepared Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instruction

  • In a large skillet on the stove top, cook and crumble the ground turkey until no longer pink inside and most of the moisture from the meat has evaporated.
  • Add the cooked turkey to a 4 quart or larger slow cooker along with the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  • Serve sloppy joe meat on your favorite hamburger buns or rolls.
