Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced, We used freeze dried.)
  • 1 lb Baby Potatoes
  • 1 lb Carrots (Peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 6 Ribs Celery (Chopped)
  • 53 oz Sloppy Joe Sauce ((2 - 26.5 oz cans))
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instruction

  • Brown your ground beef with onion and garlic until cooked through. Drain any excess fat and set aside. (Note: We used a browning slow cooker, but you can use a skillet for this step.)
  • Place your potatoes, carrots and celery in the bottom of your browning slow cooker or any 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Layer your ground beef on top.
  • Then pour your sloppy joe sauce on top and cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
  • During the last hour, sprinkle cheese on top to melt before serving.
