Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced, We used freeze dried.)
- 1 lb Baby Potatoes
- 1 lb Carrots (Peeled and cut into chunks)
- 6 Ribs Celery (Chopped)
- 53 oz Sloppy Joe Sauce ((2 - 26.5 oz cans))
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instruction
- Brown your ground beef with onion and garlic until cooked through. Drain any excess fat and set aside. (Note: We used a browning slow cooker, but you can use a skillet for this step.)
- Place your potatoes, carrots and celery in the bottom of your browning slow cooker or any 6 quart slow cooker.
- Layer your ground beef on top.
- Then pour your sloppy joe sauce on top and cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
- During the last hour, sprinkle cheese on top to melt before serving.
