Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 1/4 c plus 1 t all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c water
- 3 lb beef rump roast
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- 7 oz bottle ketchup
- mashed potatoes
Instruction
- Create a paste with your flour and water
- Spread your paste all over your roast
- Sprinkle your roast generously with salt and pepper and place in your crock pot
- Place your sliced onions all over your roast
- Put your catsup all over
- Add water to your crock pot until it comes halfway up your roast
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
- Take your roast out and put on a serving platter, let it rest for several minutes and slice
- Serve over mashed potatoes and top with your gravy
