Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup(s) steel cut oats
  • 4 cup(s) water
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2 tablespoon(s) buttery spread, softened
  • 3 tablespoon(s) dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 2 medium (1/4-inch-thick) sliced granny smith apple, peeled if desired

Instruction

  • Spray Crock Pot insert with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Put all dry ingredients in Crock Pot and mix well.
  • Now add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Cook on low overnight. (Oatmeal is done in about 4 hours but will stay hot in crock till morning).
  • All the spices will have floated to the top. Just stir well and spoon into bowls and enjoy!
