Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup(s) steel cut oats
- 4 cup(s) water
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 tablespoon(s) buttery spread, softened
- 3 tablespoon(s) dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 2 medium (1/4-inch-thick) sliced granny smith apple, peeled if desired
Instruction
- Spray Crock Pot insert with non-stick cooking spray.
- Put all dry ingredients in Crock Pot and mix well.
- Now add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Cook on low overnight. (Oatmeal is done in about 4 hours but will stay hot in crock till morning).
- All the spices will have floated to the top. Just stir well and spoon into bowls and enjoy!
