Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons ground red pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 6 oz package long-grain and wild rice (cooked)

Instruction

  • Melt your butter in a skillet over medium-high heat
  • While your butter is melting, sprinkle your chicken breasts with your ground red pepper
  • Once your butter is melted, place your chicken in your skillet and brown on each side until golden
  • While your chicken is browning, mix together your maple syrup, brown sugar, and pecans
  • Place your golden chicken breasts in your crock pot and pour your maple syrup mixture over top
  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for an hour and a half to 2 hours
  • Serve over your cooked rice.
