Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons ground red pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 6 oz package long-grain and wild rice (cooked)
Instruction
- Melt your butter in a skillet over medium-high heat
- While your butter is melting, sprinkle your chicken breasts with your ground red pepper
- Once your butter is melted, place your chicken in your skillet and brown on each side until golden
- While your chicken is browning, mix together your maple syrup, brown sugar, and pecans
- Place your golden chicken breasts in your crock pot and pour your maple syrup mixture over top
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for an hour and a half to 2 hours
- Serve over your cooked rice.
