Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Sweet Onion (chopped)
  • 3 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
  • 8 oz Can Water Chestnuts (drained and chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce
  • Romaine Lettuce Leaves (washed and dried)
  • Additional Soy Sauce and Hoisin Sauce to Taste. (garnish)

Instruction

  • Brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
  • Drain and place in 4 quart slow cooker. (We used our favorite 4 quart non-stick slow cooker.)
  • Add soy sauce, bell pepper and water chestnuts and stir well.
  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 90 min- 2 hours.
  • Stir in Hoisin Sauce and serve with a slotted spoon onto lettuce leaves.
