Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Sweet Onion (chopped)
- 3 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
- 8 oz Can Water Chestnuts (drained and chopped)
- 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce
- Romaine Lettuce Leaves (washed and dried)
- Additional Soy Sauce and Hoisin Sauce to Taste. (garnish)
Instruction
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
- Drain and place in 4 quart slow cooker. (We used our favorite 4 quart non-stick slow cooker.)
- Add soy sauce, bell pepper and water chestnuts and stir well.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 90 min- 2 hours.
- Stir in Hoisin Sauce and serve with a slotted spoon onto lettuce leaves.
