Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 pounds Potatoes (peeled)
- 3 cups Water
- 2 slices Thick Sliced Center Cut Bacon
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1/3 cup Chopped Green Onions
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instruction
- Add peeled potatoes and water to 6 quart Crock-Pot Express Crock.
- Lock lid into place and set Crock-Pot Express Crock to the STEAM setting and turn the steam valve to the OFF position.
- Cook on HIGH for 8 minutes (if you have large potatoes you may need to cook them for an additional 2 minutes).
- Carefully remove potatoes from Crock-Pot Express Crock and drain off water.
- Turn Crock-Pot Express Crock to the SAUTE setting and press the START button.
- Add diced bacon to the pot and cook until bacon is crisp and browned.
- Add the cooked potatoes back into the pot (leave the bacon grease in the pot for additional flavor) and add in the remaining ingredients.
- With a potato masher that is safe to use in a non-stick pan, mash the potatoes until they reach your desired consistency.
