Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 4 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar (divided)
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded )
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (cubed)
  • Garnish: Chopped Parsley

Instruction

  • Saute mushrooms in butter, onion and garlic.
  • Combine with cabbage, 1 1/2 cups of the cheddar, parmesan, broth, chicken, egg, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix well and place in a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Top with cream cheese and remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Cook on High for 2-3 hours or Low for 4-5 hour OR until cabbage is tender.
