Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 2 lbs Beef (cubes)
- 2 cups Carrots (chopped)
- 2 cups Baking potatoes (2 large)
- 1/2 cup Onions (diced)
- 1/2 inch Ginger (sliced)
- 1 large Garlic (sliced)
- 1 tsp Thyme (dried)
- 2 sprig Rosemary
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1/4 cup Red wine (optional)
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instruction
- Add carrots, potatoes, beef, onion, garlic, ginger, herbs, and spices into the slow cooker.
- In a bowl or measuring cup – combine broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, tomato paste, and mustard.
- Then, pour the liquid ingredients over the slow cooker ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low-heat for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
- Combine cornstarch and water in a bowl. Then, add it to the slow cooker.
- Continue to cook on high for another hour.
- Serve over steamed rice, couscous, or cauliflower rice.
