Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 2 lb beef chuck roast
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup onion (chopped (or ¼ cup dried minced onion))
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried parsley
  • salt & pepper (to taste)
  • extra-wide egg noodles (prepared)
  • mashed potatoes (prepared)

Instruction

  • Put your roast in the bottom of your 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Mix together your broth, onion and seasonings in a large bowl.
  • Pour broth mixture over your roast.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until your roast is fork tender.
  • Make a bed of mashed potatoes topped with extra-wide egg noodles or just noodles or just mashed potatoes.
  • Place a serving of beef on top and ladle juices over top.
