Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 1 package(s) willie's beans and peas seasoning packet
  • 1 cup(s) pinto beans, dry
  • 1 cup(s) split peas, dry
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 - a green pepper, diced
  • 2 cup(s) chopped bok choy (green and white parts)
  • 1 cup(s) spinach, fresh, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon(s) garlic, heaping
  • - salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

  • Put the pinto beans and the peas into a bowl and pour over them at least 2 times as much water and let it sit 4 hours.
  • Take that and pour into a crock pot. Add the rest of the ingredients minus the spinach and the bok choy. Add 3 or so more cups of water. cook on low for 6 hours. Add the bok choy and the spinach cook two more hours and serve.
