  • Dash of salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

  • 2 Tbsp of store-bought red chili paste
  • 4 Tbsp of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 Tbsp of corn starch + 1 Tbsp of water
