Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 waxy potatoes (about 600 grams)
  • salt
  • freshly ground peppers
  • Nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsps Canola oil

Instruction

  • Peel and coarsely grate potatoes.
  • Put potatoes in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. With your hands, squeeze out excess moisture. Grate some nutmeg over the potato mixture.
  • Heat the canola oil in a large non-stick skillet. Divide the potato mixture into 4 portions, add to the pan and flatten slightly.
  • Cook until golden brown on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, then turn and finish cooking an additional 4-5 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towels before serving.
