Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 pounds chicken wings ((wingettes or drummettes))
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup guava paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 teaspoon coconut sugar
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 250F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a baking rack on top.
- Combine the rice flour (or regular flour), salt and baking soda in a large bowl or zip lock bag.
- Pat the chicken wings dry. Place the wings in the bag and shake to coat with the mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Turn up the heat to 400F degrees and bake another 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove wings from oven and place in a bowl. Pour sauce over wings and toss to coat.
- Pour wings back on the baking sheet (remove the rack) and bake at 400F degrees for 10 minutes, until crispy and caramelized.
- Serve immediately.
