Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings ((wingettes or drummettes))
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup guava paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoon coconut sugar

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 250F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a baking rack on top.
  • Combine the rice flour (or regular flour), salt and baking soda in a large bowl or zip lock bag.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry. Place the wings in the bag and shake to coat with the mixture.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Turn up the heat to 400F degrees and bake another 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove wings from oven and place in a bowl. Pour sauce over wings and toss to coat.
  • Pour wings back on the baking sheet (remove the rack) and bake at 400F degrees for 10 minutes, until crispy and caramelized.
  • Serve immediately.
