Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 2 packages crescent roll sheets
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 package Sloppy Joe seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (2 cups)
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Press one crescent roll sheet into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until just golden.
  • Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain if necessary.
  • Stir tomato sauce, Sloppy Joe seasoning, and Italian seasoning into ground beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Spread the ground beef mixture over the pre-baked crescent roll crust. Top with the shredded cheese, then the second crescent roll sheet.
  • Brush the top crescent roll sheet with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
