Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 10 oz fresh or frozen spinach
- 2 tbsp pastured butter
- 2 tbsp onion ((diced))
- 2 cloves garlic
- 6 oz cream cheese
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup parmesan cheese ((grated))
- salt ((to taste))
- black pepper ((to taste))
Instruction
- Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the minced garlic and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the spinach and cream cheese and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the cream cheese to completely melt and mix with the spinach.
- Add the chicken broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper.
- If you prefer the creamed spinach to contain less liquid, let the broth simmer for a little longer.
