Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 6.5 cups waxy potatoes
- 2.5 cups cream (30% fat)
- 1 clove garlic cloves
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- freshly grated Nutmeg
- 0.75 cup grated Emmentaler cheese
Instruction
- Peel wash and dry the potatoes. Slice very thinly and arrange in neat layers in four small buttered pans (or one large one).
- Peel and finely chop the garlic and crush finely with a little salt. Bring the cream to the boil with the crushed garlic and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over the potatoes so that they are barely covered.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven 400°F for about 40 minutes.
