Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 3 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes (, peeled and cut in chunks)
- 6 cloves garlic (, peeled and rough chopped in large pieces)
- 4 ounces cream cheese (, softened)
- 4 Tbs. butter (, melted)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Instruction
- Fill pot with potatoes, garlic and enough cold water to cover by 1-inch. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil 20 minutes or until tender. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the potato water.
- Mash potato mixture with reserved potato water. Add cream cheese, butter, kosher salt and pepper. Continue mashing until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to serving dish and top with additional melted butter, if desired.
