Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 puff pastry sheet (thawed)
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup cooked turkey (shredded)
  • ½ cup cranberry jalapeno relish (click link for recipe - or use cranberry relish of your choice)
  • 1 egg + 1 tsp water (whisked together for egg wash)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Lay the puff pastry sheet flat on parchment paper.
  • To make the braided top, slice a triangle from the bottom of each side of the pastry dough, then slice ½ inch diagonal lines up each side of the pastry dough.
  • Spread the cream cheese down the middle.
  • Top with the turkey, then the cranberry relish.
  • Lay the rectangular end of the puff pastry over the filling, then begin on one side, and lay one strip of dough over the filling, then alternate laying a strip of dough from the other side, then alternate back and forth, back and forth, over the filling.
  • Once the entire puff pastry is wrapped up, transfer it on the parchment paper to a baking sheet.
  • Brush with the egg wash.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
