Ingredients
The following ingredients have 1 Servings
- 2 bottles of champagne (chilled)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup pomegranate juice (or juice from 1 large pomegranate)
- 6 packets of Sweet 'N Low
Instruction
- In a small sauce pot, over medium heat, combine cranberries, pomegranate juice, water and Sweet 'N Low.
- Bring to simmer and let it cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
- Mash the berries as much as you can with the back of a wooden spoon and mix well.
- Strain the mixture through a fine strainer to get rid of berry chunks.
- Let syrup cool to room temperature before adding to champagne cocktail.
- Pour about 2 tablespoons of syrup into each champagne flute and fill it with 4-5 oz of champagne, depending of the size of your champagne glass.
