Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 ½ cups cranberries (whole, fresh cranberries)
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg

Instruction

  • Combine butter and sugar together and mix until creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In a third bowl, combine eggs, eggnog, sour cream and vanilla.
  • Mix half the flour mixture into the butter mixture.
  • When mixed in, add the egg mixture. Once it is incorporated, add the final half of flour.
  • Fold in cranberries.
  • Place in a greased 8 x8 inch baking dish.
  • Mix streusel together by placing brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour together. Stir until combined.
  • Sprinkle streusel on top of cake batter.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 55-60 minutes.
  • Allow cake to fully cool in cake pan
