  • 100 g spaghetti or linguine (or pasta of choice)
  • 1 courgette, roughly grated or chopped
  • a pinch of chilli flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • leaves from a few sprigs of basil
  • Parmesan cheese, grated, to serve
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted, to serve
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • grated zest and juice of ½ small unwaxed lemon
  • 1 banana shallot or 2–3 smaller shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
