Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup sweet corn kernels
  • 3/4 cup fine sooji/rava
  • 1 big onion
  • 1/2 " ginger
  • 3-4 green chilies
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • Salt

Instruction

  • Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai. Maintain medium flame.
  • Add 1 cup sweet corn kernels, 3/4 cup rava, 1 roughly chopped onion, 1/2" peeled ginger, 3-4 green chilies, required salt in a food processor.
  • Pulse 8-10 times. Add 1/8-1/4 cup water just to bind everything. Vada batter is ready.
  • Take a lemon sized ball of batter and shape like vada with a hole in center. Deep fry in hot oil. Serve corn vada hot with sauce.
