Ingredients

The following ingredients have 15 Servings
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate (chopped)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 and ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 4 large eggs (at room temperature, beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate Frosting

Instruction

  • Spray a 15x10x1 inch jelly-roll pan with non-stick spray. (If you don't have this size pan, you can use a 9x13 inch pan, but it will cook longer, 26 to 29 minutes.)
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Melt 1 cup butter and semisweet chocolate. I like to melt it in the microwave. Microwave at 30-second intervals stirring in between each time until mixture is smooth.
  • Allow to cool slightly.
  • Whisk sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs, vanilla, and salt together.
  • Add sugar mixture to chocolate mixture and whisk until combined.
  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 22 to 25 minutes.
  • While brownies are baking, make the Chocolate Frosting. < click for recipe
  • Drizzle warm brownies with Chocolate Frosting and sprinkle evenly with candy-coated chips.
