Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour (spooned and floured)
- ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) salted butter (softened)
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp whole milk
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spread the flour out on a large sheet pan.
- Bake the flour in the oven for 5 minutes to heat treat it.
- Remove the pan with the flour from the oven and set aside to let it cool for about 10 minutes.
- While the flour is cooling, make the dough in a large bowl by using a hand or stand mixer to beat the salted butter and light brown sugar together until creamy, about 1 minutes.
- On the lowest setting of the mixer, gradually beat in the powdered sugar until completely combined, about 1 minute. You should have a light and fluffy butter mixture at this point.
- Mix in the whole milk and vanilla extract until completely combined, about 30 seconds.
- Once it has cooled, beat in the all-purpose flour until it is incorporated into the dough, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Fold the dark chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
- Use a 1 ½ inch cookie scoop to scoop the dough into balls.
- Roll each ball of dough in your hands to smooth it out and place it on a plate or sheet pan.
- Place the cookie dough bites in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
- Plate and serve cold.
