Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 8 Plum Tomatoes
- 1/2 Cup Red Onion
- 1/2 Fresh Chopped Basil
- 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Fresh Cracked Pepper
- 1 French Baguette Loaf or Favorite Chips/Crackers
Instruction
- Finely chop tomatoes and onion.
- Place in medium size bowl.
- Add crushed garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper and mix together
- Add fresh chopped basil and mix to incorporate.
- To Make Crostini-
- Slice baguette loaf and make 1/4" slices.
- Lay flat on baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
- Option: Rub each slice of bread with garlic as soon as it is removed from oven
