Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 8 Plum Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Red Onion
  • 1/2 Fresh Chopped Basil
  • 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Cracked Pepper
  • 1 French Baguette Loaf or Favorite Chips/Crackers

Instruction

  • Finely chop tomatoes and onion.
  • Place in medium size bowl.
  • Add crushed garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper and mix together
  • Add fresh chopped basil and mix to incorporate.
  • To Make Crostini-
  • Slice baguette loaf and make 1/4" slices.
  • Lay flat on baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Option: Rub each slice of bread with garlic as soon as it is removed from oven
