Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter (softened)

Instruction

  • Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a small bowl mix together all topping ingredients (you can double the amounts if desired for more cinnamon swirl).
  • In a large bowl combine all the cake ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the topping mixture over the batter, then run through with a knife to create a swirl pattern.
  • Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the cake tests done.
